SOCRA provides education, certification, and networking opportunities to everyone involved in clinical research. The organization offers the Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) program to evaluate and document knowledge, understanding, and application of the principles underlying conduct of clinical investigations involving human beings in accordance with recognized standards: the International Conference on Harmonisation (ICH) Guidelines for Good Clinical Practice E6 (GCP); the United States Code of Federal Regulations (CFR); and the ethical principles that guide clinical research as articulated in the Nuremberg Code, the Belmont Report and the Declaration of Helsinki.
